Printed four arcs coupler in cylindrical cavity for permittivity measurement

Summary: | A novel printed four arcs coupler, is proposed. Because of the central symmetry of the coupler, the cavity has a clear TE011 mode for measuring the complex permittivity. Its characteristics are compared with measurement and simulation results. Reasonable agreement has been observed, fully validating the design of the proposed coupler. This method has the advantages of simple setting of the apparatus, and fast tuning of the coupling. |
