Summary:Contemporary level of molecular biology development in combination with the achievements of physics and chemistry has defined a new trend in diagnostics of diseases which used immunosensory test-systems elaborated on the chemical and optical basis. The data on the express identification of antibodies to Epstein-Barr virus in patients' sera obtained with an optoelectronic device are given in the article. The series of experimental immunosensors for express diagnostics were developed, and basic indices of their diagnostic quality were worked through. The negative and positive panels of sera were created, which were used to evaluate the diagnostic specificity and sensitivity of the elaborated immunosensory test-system. The conditions and possible storage life of the immunosensors were investigated. The experimental testing of worked samples of the immunosensory test-system shown their sufficient effectiveness and specificity for detection of antibodies to Epstein-Barr virus; and it could be used to diagnose the diseases caused by the virus.
