Summary: | In this paper, university female students' opinions on consciousness towards choice of clothes for boys and girls were studied. The results were obtained by factor analysis and multiple regression analysis as follows: 1) The factor structure of female university students' consciousness toward Boy's wear is interpreted as (F 1) my taste, (F 2) individuality, (F 3) comfortable, (F 4) durability, (F 5) brand, (F 6) choice of boy, and (F 7) economics. 2) The factor structure of female university students' consciousness toward Girl's wear is interpreted as (FA 1) brand, (FA 2) individuality, (FA 3) comfortable, (FA 4) durability, (FA 5) fashionable, (FA 6) choice of girl, (FA 7) street clothes by brand, and (F 8) economics. 3) The results showed that those who value brand name clothes when purchasing their own clothes tend to choose brand name clothes for their daughters, too. However, they tend to go by their own preference when they choose clothes for their sons. 4) The results also showed that those who value ease of care and comfort when they purchase their own clothes tend to value comfort and durability when they choose children's clothes, too. |
