Summary: | A novel real-time ultrasonic imaging system for extracting several orders of harmonic ultrasonic pulse waves has been constructed using a double-layered piezoelectric transducer (DLPT). The enhanced odd and even harmonics can be detected in real-time by switching the DLPT to receive the ultrasonic pulse waves. To demonstrate the performance of the system, a steel ball target has been imaged as an application of the new system. |
