Summary: | The following paper, by Sollac (CRPC) with PAB-Nord described a design of composite steel roofing for office and apartment buildings. The system was developed in response to an increasing market in which aluminium systems have an established presence. The paper argues that current systems of metal roofing tend either to be extremely expensive, or effectively consist of two parts: one to perform utilitarian functions, particularly drainage, and physical support, and the second for aesthetic appearance. |
