Summary:Moyamoya disease is a rare cerebral vasculopathy. Disease onset is mainly sudden presenting as an ischemic stroke but also sometimes as a brain hemorraghe. Cerebral angiography is the gold standard to confirm the diagnosis. Different therapeutic approaches have been described such as conservative management or endoscopic and surgical approaches.
