Summary:There are presented data of literature and own observations of the treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer using hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemoperfusion. The possible complications during hyperthermic chemoperfusion are discussed and the effectiveness of the method is analyzed. Further studies are needed to obtain more certain criteria for abdominal chemotherapy in these patients.
