Summary:Based on 's theory of (constant circulatory flowing of ) it is explored that the pathogenesis of myasthenia gravis refers to deficiency in the middle and the disarrangement of . It is summarized that the approach to acupuncture diagnosis and treatment should focus on replenishing of the middle based on and tonifying the functions of organs to eliminate pathogens, assisted with regulating (spirit) and opening the orifices so as to promote the recovery of motor and non-motor functions of the four limbs, eyelids, speech articulation, swallowing, vision, respiration and mental state in patients.
