Summary:Although there is a substantial literature concerning the sexuality of people suffering from a psychiatric disorder, such as depression, anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders or personality disorders, few studies have investigated the sexuality of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) patients. The purpose of this article is therefore to show current knowledge about sexuality in people suffering from ADHD. The latter seem to have less sexual satisfaction, more sexual desire, more sexual dysfunction and more risky sexual behavior than the general population.
