Summary:In the material of 32 patients with various pathologic conditions of vertebral foramina the value was analysed of spatial option 3D CT in correlation to biplanar sections and CT multiplanar reconstructions. A significant value was found in the comparative assessment of dimensions and the degree of narrowing of the openings at different levels, localisation of osteophytes and lateral hernias. Three-dimensional reconstruction of the internal surface and vertebral foramen volume was obtained.
