Summary:Immunological parameters of the periodontal peripheral blood were studied in patients aged 18-19 years with catarrhal gingivitis during the remission and exacerbation stages and in subjects with normal periodontium. The immune status was studied by flow laser cytometry using monoclonal antibodies. Opposite changes in the lymphocyte and natural killer subpopulations were detected in periodontal blood of patients with catarrhal gingivitis at the stages of remission and exacerbation.
