Summary:In a 10-year follow-up the time-related course was studied of neurosis-like disorders in those subjects presenting with digestive abnormalities. The group of examinees was 108 patients--liquidators of the Chernobyl accident who had come to be exposed to the doses of irradiation of the order of 0.7 Gy and higher, persons who had suffered acute radiation sickness. Rise in morbidity is shown. Some principles are suggested of devising rehabilitation measures together with therapeutic ones aimed to correct somatic disorders presenting with concurrent psychoneuronal type problems.
