Summary: | Accidental or voluntary foreign bodies ingestion is a frequent reported event in emergency departments. The Authors report the case of a young woman with pica admitted to their Department in an emergency setting for acute intestinal obstruction due to the ingestion of not specified amount of elastics, which required an open surgery operation. |
