Summary:Fertilization treatment is established therapy of infertility in the cases, where other approaches have failed or were impossible. In eating disorders, majority of fertility problems has been secondary and so fully reversible if appropriately treated. Fertilization treatment should not be used in patients refusing the psychological treatment of the illness. In patients in active phase of the illness fertility treatment at fertility are contra-indicated. Two cases of negative impact of fertility treatment in patients with anorexia nervosa are presented.
