Summary:The authors evaluated 55 subjects after successful treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in childhood as regards height, body weight and sexual maturation. In 23 the final height could be evaluated, which was somewhat lower than the mean height of the population, lower than could be expected according to the genetic potential and height before the diseases with a more evident deficit in women. There was an obvious tendency to overweight. Early onset of menarche was recorded.
