Summary:The efficacy of different methods of treatment of severe mechanical trauma with and without hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) was studied by comparative analysis in experiments on 80 dogs. HBO was found to have a positive influence on the values of central hemodynamics and oxygen consumption in severe traumatic disease. HBO (1-2 atm, 50 min; 4-5 sessions) conducted in the early restorative period increases the survival percentage.
