Influence of the probability of the random performance of an acquired reaction on the rate of the formation of an instrumental reflex

Instrumental reflex formation in rats takes place more rapidly at high probability of random performance of instrumental reaction to light; however, it does not depend on the frequency of correct responses positive reinforcements (from 50 to 100%). In case of low probability, the learning process sh...

Summary:Instrumental reflex formation in rats takes place more rapidly at high probability of random performance of instrumental reaction to light; however, it does not depend on the frequency of correct responses positive reinforcements (from 50 to 100%). In case of low probability, the learning process sharply slows down at 50% reinforcement of correct responses in comparison with 100% one.
