Summary: | General strategies for metal aerogel synthesis, including single‐metal, transition‐metal doped, multi‐metal‐doped, and nano‐metal‐doped carbon aerogel are described. In addition, the latest applications of several of the above‐mentioned metal aerogels in electrocatalytic CO2 reduction are discussed. Finally, considering the possibility of future applications of electrocatalytic CO2 reduction technology, a vision for industrialization and directions that can be optimized are proposed.
General strategies for the synthesis of metal‐based aerogels, including monometallic, non‐precious metal‐doped, polymetallic‐doped, and nanometallic‐doped carbon aerogels are presented. In addition, the latest applications of several of the aforementioned metal aerogels in electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction are reviewed. Finally, the future of large‐scale electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction technology applications is discussed. And workable options for the improvement of presented techniques are suggested. |
