Summary:The computer model of the radioactive waste container is presented. The analysis of heat exchange between the container and the environment is made. The simulation and justifying calculations of the modes of passive removal of residual heat from radioactive wastes subject to weather conditions are described. The experimental validation of the simulation data is made. The simulation showed that the waste container surface temperature is kept within permissible limits during all the year except July.
