Nucleotide sequence of a radish ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase small subunit (rbcS) cDNA

A radish (Raphanus sativus , Cruciferae) cDNA library was prepared in pUC 18 using the Gubler procedure and screened with an heterologous rbcS cDNA from Nicotiana sylvestris . A 704 bp cDNA was isolated, subcloned in M13 and sequenced by the dideoxy chain termination.
