Retroperitoneal fibrosis associated with systemic lupus erythematosus: a case report and brief review

We present a case of retroperitoneal fibrosis associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and review the etiology of retroperitoneal fibrosis. The HLA antigens found were A2, AW33, B8, B17, DR3, and DR6. The HLA antigens associated with retroperitoneal fibrosis and SLE are discussed.
