Quotients, ℓ∞ and abstract Cesàro spaces

Investigating some re-arrangement properties of the norm in the quotient spaces X / X a we determine the properties of the codomain space X guaranteeing the existence of a lattice isometric copy of ℓ ∞ in the abstract Cesàro space CX .
