Summary:This article provides an analysis of the structural elements of valuation methodology directly affecting the quality of business valuation services (the concept of business valuation, valuation aims and cases, principles, aspects and methods), as well as the opportunities for and problems in their application under the specific circumstances evident in Lithuania. The infrastructure forming the market environment of business valuation services and its impact on the quality of these services is discussed and evaluated. A commensurate deal of attention is also given to interpreting the research results revealing opinions of business valuers and valuation services consumers on the quality level of services offered.
