Summary:We are reporting a case of an infant with an intracranial malignant teratoma which was diagnosed prenatally by ultrasound at 37 weeks of gestational age. After a cesarean delivery, the resection of the tumor was performed at 24 h of age. This infant is currently the oldest reported survivor that carries this prenatal diagnosis. He is also the first reported infant with surgical intervention for an intracranial malignant teratoma diagnosed prenatally.
