Summary:In the field of industrial robotics, there are many different methods to increase the robots accuracy and to reduce the pose errors of robot systems. Generally, different calibration methods are used to increase the robots accuracy. The optical measurement systems have the advantage of high resolution, large workspace and contactless measurement. In this paper, it is presented a system for measuring the robot's pose performances by using two digitally theodolits. The used method and algorithm are in concordance with the ISO 9283:1998 recommendations and are validated by experimentally researches results.
