Paramagnetic vortex state in Pr2-xCexCuO4 single crystals

Transverse-field muon spin rotation (TF-*mSK) measurements of the internal magnetic field distribution of Pr2-xCexCuO4 single crystals reveal a large increase in the magnitude of the average field in the vortex state under field-cooling conditions. The observed increase in the average internal magne...

Summary:Transverse-field muon spin rotation (TF-*mSK) measurements of the internal magnetic field distribution of Pr2-xCexCuO4 single crystals reveal a large increase in the magnitude of the average field in the vortex state under field-cooling conditions. The observed increase in the average internal magnetic field measured by *mSK is discussed in the context of the paramagnetic Meissner effect.
