Summary:The article presents the results of displacement surveys of selected building structures located in areas subject to the effects of underground coal mining exploitation. The structures covered by the experimental surveys are two buildings: administrative and residential one, located in Piekary Slqskie. The observations of displacements were performed over longer periods of time (6 and 16 months) using the GNSS receivers, the antennas of which were fixed permanently to both buildings. Satellite observations were carried out continuously, in a static mode. The coordinates of the points represented by the mounted antennas were calculated with reference to the ASG-EUPOS, which is part of the ETRF-89. Based on the conducted displacement surveys, the displacements of the studied buildings were determined. In the process of analyzing the obtained results of the surveys, special attention was paid to the time synchronization of the performed observations with the coal exploitation being carried out. It has allowed for an accurate analysis of the process of displacements of the buildings and their relation to the advance of mining activity. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
