Summary:This paper describes a photovoltaic generator connected to the electrical network through an active parallel power filter in order to improve the quality of energy. The proposed system contains an active filter element alimented by a photovoltaic system, with a global method of perturbe and observe is applied for the search for the maximum power point, associated with a voltage inverter. This three-phase active filter is connected to the network, supplying a dynamic nonlinear load consisting of a diode rectifier bridge associated with a direct current motor. The simulation results using Matlab / Simulink environment prove the robustness of the direct drive which simultaneously guarantees the compensation of harmonic currents, the correction of the power factor and the injection of solar power into the electricity grid. Several regimes are approached depending on the levels of solar photovoltaic power injected. In addition, the adaptability of the active filter is checked against a variation in the dynamic load.
