Summary:This study aims to describe students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems on the system of linear equations in three variables. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. The subjects in this study were students from class X IPA 1 of a senior high school in Karawang Regency. Data collection was initiated by giving questions to 20 students about the system of linear equations in three variables, which were then analyzed qualitatively. This study indicates that students in the low category have difficulty understanding questions and completing operations so that students cannot solve most of the material on the system of linear equations in three variables. Students in the medium category can understand the problem but have difficulty completing operations on the system of linear equations in three variables. High category students do not experience difficulties so that they can solve the system of linear equations in three variables.
