Highly dense and thin composite-bonded magnets with spherical Sm2Fe17N3 fine powder

Anisotropic 270-mum-thick composite-bonded magnets using the spherical Sm2Fe17N3 fine powder together with HDDR-Nd2Fe14B can be obtained, and the value of (BH)max reached , which is extremely higher than that of conventional isotropic Nd2Fe14B-bonded magnets. It was also confirmed that the thermal s...

Summary:Anisotropic 270-mum-thick composite-bonded magnets using the spherical Sm2Fe17N3 fine powder together with HDDR-Nd2Fe14B can be obtained, and the value of (BH)max reached , which is extremely higher than that of conventional isotropic Nd2Fe14B-bonded magnets. It was also confirmed that the thermal stability for the thin composite magnets was good.
