Summary: | We report a novel narrow-band blue emitting phosphor Sr7.92Mg7Si9N22:0.08Eu2+. The crystal structure of Sr8Mg7Si9N22 is composed of corner-sharing and edge-sharing [SiN4] tetrahedra and distorted square-pyramid [MgN5] polyhedra.
