The role of managing the Port of Singapore was taken over from the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on February 2, 1996, when it was formed by merging the regulatory departments of PSA, the National Maritime Board, and the Marine Department. |
