Summary:Recovery model, as the hearing voices movement, promotes the users discourse among the health workers. This interference of users in the expertise considering the meaning of their voices is faced with the vision of advocating health workers, particularly the psychiatrists supporting the psychiatric users movement. This new challenge of working together leads them to adopt both a more humble position towards their clinical expertise and a more ambitious position regarding their participation in the construction of public controversies highlighted by the speaking experience of the hearing voices movement.
