Summary:Over 70 observations of angiofollicular lymphoma with the involvement of predominantly mediastinal, less frequently retroperitoneal and peripheral lymph nodes have been reported in the literature. The disease is characterized by protracted benign course. Its etiology has not been clarified yet. The author presents an observation of angiofollicular lymphoma in a woman of 52 with a rare localization--in soft tissues of the neck. The clinical and histological data indicate the benign nature of the process.
