Summary: | The phrase “cloud computing” is new and describes the provisioning and consumption of shared cloud computing resources and services on an as-needed basis through a payment model based on utility principles. However, the data centres needed to host cloud services use a lot of power and put dangerous emissions into the air. Hence A more environmentally friendly future depends on focusing on energy-efficient cloud scheduling techniques. In the current circumstances, researchers have offered a plethora of energy-efficient algorithms that lower energy efficiency in a cloud. In this study, we examine heuristic and meta-heuristic scheduling methodologies in depth, comparing and contrasting several scheduling approaches that are grounded in computational methods. The current survey paper is useful for researchers in determining the best strategy for cutting down the energy usage. |
