Summary:An original approach to the computerization of the educational process focused on the application of special computer technologies in engineering activities is outlined. The technology of electronic formulas as a working mathematical apparatus of probability theory is proposed. The advantages of the object-oriented approach in subject content structuring and the crucial importance of the object-oriented paradigm in creating a universal working environment for knowledge acquisition and application are shown. The possibility of subject-oriented teaching of basic subjects based on a universal computer environment is discussed.
