Summary: | The purpose of this study is to develop an android-based learning applications for mechanical design sub-topics based on ADDIE theory and to obtain confirmation from experts, based on previously identified problems related to the need for use of technology in learning rather than conventional learning. Data collection will be conducted through interview methods with respondents. The method of interviewing conducted is in-depth interviews. Three respondents were carefully selected i.e. those who possess the knowledge, expertise, and experience, and relevance of the respondents towards Design and Technology subjects. The information obtained from the findings of the interview will be analyzed using the content analysis method. Product Development is used as research design. Meanwhile, the development process used is by reference to the ADDIE model: i.e. (i) Analysis(Analysis), (ii) Design, (iii) Development (Development), (iv) Implementation and (v) Evaluation taking into account aspects such as content and mobile application interface elements studied based on the ADDIE Theory. The results showed that all respondents agreed that the content, as well as the interface elements of the mobile application, had achieved the objectives and goals set at the beginning of the Mecha App application to be developed. The development of this application can provide added value for the topic of Mechanical Design RBT Form 2 as it can be accessed through Google Playstore. Therefore, this study is able to benefit users of this application and is also able to provide its benefits in the world of education, especially in Form 2 Design and Technology subjects. |
