The design of ZnO/LiNbO3 thin-plating surface acoustical waveguide in acousto-optic tunable filters
A ZnO thin-plating surface acoustical waveguide (SAWG) has a strong confinement, excellent filter characteristics and provides design flexibility and simple fabrication technique. It can suppress sidelobes effectively. These are very interesting in the design of acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF)....

Summary: | A ZnO thin-plating surface acoustical waveguide (SAWG) has a strong confinement, excellent filter characteristics and provides design flexibility and simple fabrication technique. It can suppress sidelobes effectively. These are very interesting in the design of acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF). In this paper we present a numerical method for the design of ZnO film-loaded SAWG on X-cut Y-propagating LiNbO3. The result agrees with the experiment. |
