Summary:This paper aims to develop progressive technological schemes of the roof bolting for mine workings with respect to stress distribution around workings. Methodology of selection of the support system included the study of stress-strain state, rock pressure manifestations, conditions of working maintenance depending on mining-and-geological, mining-and-technological and mining-engineering parameters in order to determine their influence on the roof bolting efficiency and substantiate the support pattern; ensure stability and reduce deficiency and costs of driving and maintenance. The stress-strain state, mining pressure manifestations, conditions of working maintenance taking into account mining and technological parameters were studied. The study allowed us to determine the extent of influence of the mentioned factors on the efficiency of roof bolting support of workings. The authors determined the consistent patterns of change of plastic range of stress and its evolution with time, the stability of working contours depending on mining-and-geological and mining-engineering factors, and the parameters for reliable operation of workings.
