Summary:To evaluate the effectiveness of community-based comprehensive intervention and internet-based intervention on influenza and pneumococcal vaccination in patients with diabetes or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in communities. Before the onset of influenza in 2015 and 2016, five demonstration areas for comprehensive prevention and control of chronic diseases were selected in the study. Patients aged 35 years old and above with diabetes and COPD were selected from selected demonstration areas as study participants. Two communities were selected from each demonstration area and randomly divided into Group A with the community-based comprehensive intervention and Group B with the combination of community-based comprehensive intervention and internet-based intervention within 6 months. The differences of vaccination knowledge, vaccination intention and vaccination proportion in study participants between the two groups before and after interventions were analyzed and compared.
