The effect of cichorium root extract on the morphofunctional state of liver in rats with carbon tetrachloride induced hepatitis model

It is established that cichorium root extract therapy leads to normalization of some morphofunctional liver features (decreases glycogen content and cell of necrosis and increases the number of cells with pronounced protein synthesis activity) in rats with CCl4-induced hepatitis.
