Analyzed are also other similarities and divergences in functioning of specific journals (among others, the distinct influence of chief editors upon the journals in the 19th and 20th century, the consequences of the social-political changes on science, the results of the present day accentuation of impact factor and other forms of evaluation of the journals etc.).
