Summary: | The application of ABO3 could promote the development of many chemical engineering processes as catalysts. Meanwhile the creation and improvement of ABO3 with different site vacancies would further enhance its commercial progress due to the possibility of strengthening its physical‐chemical properties. In this Review article by J. Chen et al. on page 3 ff., the preparation methods of ABO3 with A‐site, B‐site, and O‐site vacancies; the improved electronic structure as well as an activated lattice oxygen of vacancies‐enriched ABO3; and the corresponding reaction mechanism are discussed in detail. In particular, this effective strategy also guides ABO3’ development as electrode materials for energy storage, photovoltaic material for producing energy, and sensor materials for equipment production, etc. |
