Determination of floc sizes in kaolin suspensions dispersed by sodium lignosulfonate
The floc sizes were obtained from measurements of the sediment vols, settling rates, and floc-to-kaolin vol ratios. The calculated floc sizes agreed reasonably well with microscopic observations.
