Summary:The relevance of the problem under research is determined by the growth of migration in different regions of Russia, causing expansion of ethnic range of children attending schools, thus requiring teachers to possess special educational techniques related to the specifics of different ethnic groups. The goal of this article is to find a way to engage parents of children of ethnic minorities into school education, and vice versa - implement professional educational techniques into family education. One of the major methods in researching this issue is counseling dialogue, which allows detecting and comprehensively reviewing any issues of family education and offer help in their resolution from the position of current educational theories. For these purposes, the authors of the article have established a multiethnic counseling center for children and adults. In the course of the research the authors detected educational issues of younger schoolchildren from ethnic minorities, identified the need of establishing counseling dialogue between the teachers and parents of younger schoolchildren about their education, socialization and adaptation in Russian-speaking region, and established core approaches to integrate family and school education through the example of physical education. The materials of this research may be found useful by teachers of other stages of educational system, and by vocational education specialists in their work with multiethnic groups of children, as well as by school counsellors in their work with migrant families and during establishment of conflict-free educational environment.
