Summary: | This article focuses on the memoirs of politicians and journalists, who have participated in the White movement in northwest Russia. The author tries to analyze these historical sources and show their specificity, and concludes that memorialists were writing mostly about political subjects and their interpretations of the facts were politically engaged. On the other hand many of the facts described in the memoirs were proved by the documents, which were available for memorialists. Analyzed memoirs are undoubtedly priceless as a historical source.
