Summary:Radiation therapy is one of the important means for the clinical treatment of malignant tumors. However, the changes of the genetic characteristics, different time phases in the cell cycle of tumor cells and lacking of oxygen inside of the tumor tissues, result in the presence of the tumor cells which are not sensitive to radiation, which often leads to the failure of radiation therapy alone. So, to improve the radiosensitization of malignant tumors is a hotspot in cancer research. Along with the in - depth study of cancer related genes in recent years, we also had a deeper understanding of the cancer radiosensitization mechanisms. This paper mainly reviewed the research development of the correlative gene in cancer radiosensitization in recent years.
