Summary:The approach presented in this paper is a study of how to search for Thomson ISI welding journals using information literacy abilities. Considering it to be an important information tool for the academic community, the researchers will become more familiar with the information provided by ISI Web of Knowledge and will know how to discover the most relevant publications for their valuable information dissemination in the worldwide scientific community. The paper defines the background of scientific evaluation in our country and how the information literacy abilities help the researchers to discover ISI-quoted journals of welding engineering and to find out the appropriate reviews for publishing their scientific results.
