대만 애니메이션산업 현황분석과 진흥정책 연구

본 연구는 경제 세계화의 관점에서 1970년대 이후 대만 애니메이션산업 변화에 대해 논의하였다. 대만애니메이션은 1950년대 시작된 이후, 1970년대 세계 분업생산 시스템에 따라 미국과 일본 등의 위탁생산을 시작했으며, 1980년대에는 세계 최대 애니메이션 제작가공 생산기지로 성장했지만, 대만 국산 애니메이션은 크게 발전하지 못하였다. 1990년대 이후 경제환경과 산업공정체계 변화로 인해 애니메이션 가공산업은 대부분 중국 본토와 동남아 지역으로 이동하였다. 더구나 과학기술의 혁신으로 과거 위탁생산(OEM) 위주의 애니메이션산업은 국제공동제작을 거쳐 점차 자체 애니메이션 브랜드(OBM) 생산체제로 전환을 시도하였다. 이에 대만 애니메이션산업 발전을 위한 영향요인과 글로벌 생산시스템 구축 및 지원정책에 대해 살펴봄으로써, 한국 정부와 기업이 중국과 동남아 등 애니메이션산업의 해외 진출 관련 정책과 전략수립을 위한 참고 자료로 제공하고, 애니메이션산업의 현지화에 도움이 되기를 바란다. This study examines the evolution of Taiwan's animation industry since the 1970s within the context of economic globalization. Originating in the 1950s, Taiwan's animation industry became a significant Original Equipment Manufacturing for the United States and Japan under the global value chain system in the 1970s. By the 1980s, Taiwan emerged as the world's largest animation production and processing center; however, domestic animation development in Taiwan remained minimal. Since the 1990s, many animation processing bases have relocated to mainland China and Southeast Asia due to shifts in the economic environment. Additionally, advancements in science and technology have prompted the animation industry, previously centered on Original Equipment Manufacturing(OEM), to transition towards Original Brand Manufacturing(OBM), creating its own animation brands through international co-productions. This study also explores the factors influencing the development of Taiwan's animation industry and the policies supporting the establishment of a global production system. The insights gained aim to serve as reference materials for the Korean government and companies to formulate policies and strategies, helping to localize the animation industry into overseas markets, particularly in China and Southeast Asia.
