디지털 미디어 제작을 통한 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상 효과성 분석 연구

컴퓨팅 사고력은 창의적, 논리적, 계산적 사고를 통해 실생활의 다양한 문제를 발견하고 접근하여 최적화된 문제 해결 방법을 찾아가는 사고 능력이다. 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상 목적 달성을 위한 교육은 일반적으로 코딩 교육을 통해서 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 프로그래밍 교육에 흥미가 없거나 어려워하는 학생들을 위한 다양한 교육적 대안이 필요하다. 최근 디지털 미디어에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 디지털 미디어 제작을 통한 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상 교육을 시도하였다. 본 연구에서는 학부생을 대상으로 한 교양과목 ‘디지털 미디어 제작’ 수업에 툴 기술 교육을 탈피하여 컴퓨팅 사고력 요소를 적용해 수업을 실시하였고 사전·사후 검사를 통해 어떠한 변화가 있는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 디지털미디어 제작을 통해 컴퓨팅 사고력이 향상되는 긍정적인 효과를 확인 할 수 있었고 추가적으로 공유 및 협업, 의사소통능력까지 향상되는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. Computational thinking is the ability to think through creative, logical and computational thinking to discover and solving various problems in real life. In order to achieve this purpose of computational thinking ability improvement, coding education is generally conducted. However, students who are not interested or difficult in programming education also need a variety of educational alternatives to improve their computational thinking. Recently, interest in digital media has been growing. For this reason, I tried to educate improve computational thinking through digital media production. In this study, we applied CT elements to the ‘digital media production’ class of the liberal subject to undergraduates, and examined the results using pre-post recognition test. As a result, the digital media production of not only confirmed the positive effects of improved computational thinking, but also further improved sharing, collaboration and communication skills.
